Rain, Shine or Somewhere in the Middle … it turned out to be a Wonderful Ride in the Beautiful Central Texas Countryside! “The Stampede on the Chisholm Trail went ahead, undaunted by predictions of nasty weather, on Saturday morning. Twenty riders from across Central Texas gave it their all. The rainy weather cooperated and waited until mid-afternoon.” ~ Lion Sam Listi. Saturday, June 1st, 2019October 15th was a great afternoon for a Hometown Heroes Celebration. Captain Dinh Tat is our adopted unit representative from Ft. Hood. We had a special surprise from Captain Dendre Wright, Commander for 297th ICTC – a company within the 49th … When he joined Doc at the mic to sing “My Girl” … topped off with an amazing acapella “Star Spangled Banner”!
