Board Meeting Recap:
– Partnering with Temple-Belton Ladies Lions with Sight Program for Belton ISD children and adults from Body of Christ. Lea Beaty will visit our Club on November 9th to present the proposal and answer questions.
– Our November Board meeting has been changed to the 2nd Thursday, November 9th.
– District Cabinet Meeting will be this Saturday in Salado – attending will be Karen Stagner, Mark Bellomy, Mac Hickerson, Keith Cook.
– Club Metrics:1,209 people served / 7 Service Activities Completed / 580 Volunteer Hours / $7,500 Funds Donated / $2,900 Funds Raised
Announcements:
– Saturday, October 21st: HOCTIL Fall Festival, 2-4pm, CTCS – Great Event!
– HOCTIL Thanksgiving Baskets – sign-up sheet – Delivery scheduled for November 16th.
– James Harrison announced that Temple Founders Club member, Mr. Hightower, would like our Club to consider partnering with them for their annual Follies fundraiser event.
Program: Mac Hickerson has invited Coach Cope from Lake Belton High School – Coach Cope gave us an overall presentation for, not only Belton Football, and Athlete Commitments, he also provided an overview of all of the sports and award titles. The school opened in 2020; and last year they were designated with the Top Athletic Program in Bell County – Congratulations!
