Serving: Belton Lions Give Sight
2021: Belton Lions, along with Temple-Belton Lady Lions, are honored to have been invited to take part in the annual Back to School with God event on Saturday. The event was hosted by First United Methodist Church and Mount Zion Belton; … and supported by City of Belton, Belton ISD, Belton Police Department, Belton Fire Department, as well as, local organizations serving the community. Great event supporting these kids and families going back to school!
Belton Lions Give Sight. By conducting vision screenings, equipping hospitals and clinics, distributing medicine and raising awareness of eye disease, Lions work toward their mission of providing vision for all. Belton Lions Club participates in the Lions International Eyeglass Recycling Program, which provides eyeglasses for many needy individuals in developing nations. On a local level, Belton Lions Club works with Belton Independent School District health care professionals to provide free eye exams for needy local youth.
