Serving the Community: Heritage Park and Playground for Children with Special Needs

Belton Lions Serve the Community.  From building and helping maintain Lions Pavilion in Heritage Park to helping assemble equipment at Chisholm Trail Park, Belton Lions are committed to enhancing the quality of life for area residents.  The Belton Lions Club installed a Special Needs Playground at Heritage Park in Belton.

2021: Lion Sam Listi, Belton City Manager, Matt Bates, Interim Public Works Director and James Grant, Interim Parks and Rec Director joined our Club lunch on July 22 – for our annual $5,000 donation of support to Heritage Park – presented by Lion President James Harrison. We SERVE because we are LIONS ~ We are LIONS because we CARE!

2020: During Thursday’s meeting, Past President Gary Knight presented our annual $5,000.00 support contribution for Heritage Park to Matt Bates for the City of Belton. We are proud to partner with the City of Belton continually supporting Park improvements. Thank you for this ongoing opportunity!

2019: During our last meeting, Matt Bates provided an update on the current and future plans for Heritage Park and our Club presented the City with our annual $5,000 contribution to support this Beautiful Park. Thank you for the opportunity and privilege to Serve our Belton Community!
