Announcements:
    Our Club Tail-twister has been busy “fine-ing” members in good fun – raising money for the “cause”; and even fined our District Governor Angela Cases today!
    Happy Belated Birthday to Lion Jim Hudson (9/17)
    President Harrison talked about Belton Lions Club Membership growth.
    The Club will have a Board Meeting on September 30th.
    The Club needs to start looking at 2022 dates for our STAMPEDE Bike Ride.
    Lion Corsi will officiate the October 14th meeting / Lion Listi will introduce the Guest Speaker Stephanie O’Banion.
    Thank you District Governor Angela Cases for providing the needed extra Membership Kits.
    Belton Lions Christmas Party, December 16th (evening) at The GIN
Program:  District 2-X3 Lions Quest Chair Lorna Brockette presented an explanation on the Lions Quest Program. Lions Quest is an evidence-based and proven effective Social Emotional Learning (SEL) program.  Program elements are: Classroom curriculum with user-friendly lessons; high-quality teacher training and capacity building; support for school-wide implementation; tools for building a positive school climate; parent and family engagement; and community engagement.  Thank You!

    Welcome back to Lion Griffin – President Harrison provided a cake to celebrate!
    The Club will have a Board Meeting on September 30th – Stephanie O’Banion, United Way will be our guest speaker.
    The Club is looking at 2022 dates for our STAMPEDE Bike Ride.

Program:  Lion Matthews invited Dr. Mickey Kerr, UMHB Vice President for Athletics, to speak on the athletic program today for Acrobatics, Tumbling, Baseball, Basketball, Football, Golf, Soccer, Softball, Tennis, Volleyball, Beach Volleyball & Cross Country … 2021 is the 50th year Anniversary of UMHB Co-Ed athletics.

    Happy Belated Birthday to Lion Mike Matthews!
    President Harrison talked about Lions Clubs International Membership growth in the last three months – making great strides.
    Secretary Stagner asked Flag Route Lions to drive their route and replace worn or torn USA Flags.  Email will be sent to remember Patriot Day.
    The Club needs to start looking at 2022 dates for our STAMPEDE Bike Ride.
    District Governor Angela Cases has introduced a “Take the Plunge Challenge” … goal is for the District to raise $25,000 for the Kid’s Camp.  Clubs or Lions who help the District raise money to donate to Camp can nominate someone to “jump” into a pool at the Mid-Winter Conference in Kosse, TX Jan 8th.  The District’s goal is to bring clubs together, have a little fun and of course, support Texas Lions Camp.

Director of Operations, to share his 26 year education experiences – Building Relationships; Transformational Service; Nutrition; Grounds Maintenance; and IPM (Integrated Pest Management). A major Key to Success: “Taking Time to Listen”.  Superb program of Vision, Understanding, Awareness and Intuition!

Program:  Thank you Lion Potts for inviting Sam Skidmore, B.I.S.D. Athletics Director, to update us on Football, Golf, Volleyball, Swim Center, Track, Tennis, and the 2,437 athletes in BISD who are competing in a Community Service hours Challenge.  Wonderful Program!
