Board Meeting Recap:
– 1st Quarter Dues Invoices (July, August, September) will be out next week
– Committee Volunteer list has been created – we’ll have it next week
– Stampede Bike Ride Date has been set as Saturday, May 4th.
– The Club will again participate in the HOCTIL Fall Festival and will purchase candy and give-aways
– 1st VP Veronica Logan is stepping down from her Board position – due to family and business obligations.

Lions on the Leon Picnic in the Park & Wacky Boat Race – This weekend! – layout map distributed; everything is on course.
Bacon, Blues & Brews Plate Spinning Contest, Saturday, September 30th, Downtown Belton – Thank you to everyone who came out to help sell People’s Choice Tickets and Plate Spinning. Total funds raised: $945.
BISD Mentor Program for Project HEARTBEAT. Please consider being a mentor for a BISD student in a homeless situation. See Lion President Keith Cook if you are interested.
Saturday, October 21st: HOCTIL Fall Festival, 2-4pm, CTCS – Volunteer Sign-up will be passed next week.
Program: David Leigh invited Bobby Bishoff, Waskow VFW Post 4008 – Great presentation on the Community Outreach from the Post.
