Picnic in the Park

President Harrison suggested Give Local Belton “GLB” – one day selected – all local Charities/Organizations/Businesses could set a booth at Heritage Park to tell people what they do and why they need local support – no charge for the space – in the Fall – we’ll talk about again at the next Board Meeting.

Wall of Honor – BLC Memorial Fund

President Harrison continues to work on this – we will start with six (6) names on it – we need about $2,500 to get this started – another matching fundraiser coming soon.

The Board discussed setting up a J/E account to begin funding this project – 10% of the final net on our fundraisers; plus David Shaw’s $200; and upcoming Tail Twister fines.

Financial Report

Reports presented for both bank accounts; and for member dues payments. Several past-due and inactive members have been dropped.

Secretary Stagner advised the Board that we need to update our fundraiser(s) paperwork to reflect that payments need to be made to “Belton Lions Foundation”; and not to the Club.

Stampede T-Shirts

Secretary Stagner questioned whether or not we really need to re-order 2021 Stampede T-Shirts.  We ran out at the event and most of our Club Members did not receive one.  Lion Corsi expressed concern for riders that didn’t receive one.  Decision was made to place a re-order for the shirts.

Bank Card(s)

Treasurer Stagner now has a Bank Debit card on each account.

Meeting Ended at 1:20pm

Respectfully Submitted by Lion Secretary Karen Stagner
