6/27/2019: 2018-2019 President Lion David Shaw conducted his final meeting as President … to a full house … on his Birthday! Thank you for Serving! Welcome our newest Lion Barry Farrell! Letticia Flores, Texas Home Health Hospice, spoke to the Club about Volunteer Opportunities. We were honored to have Vice District Governor Lion Randy Sepulvado join us to officiate the 2019-2020 Officer Installation. President Lion Gary Knight closed the meeting with his first gavel bell clang! Happy Birthday Lion David Shaw!

Our special guest for this week’s meeting was Dinh Tat, Captain of our Adopted Unit – the 49th Transportation Battalion Movement Control Unit. Speaker this week was from our Sheriff’s Office, Sheriff Eddy Lange with Chuck Cox presenting an update on the Crisis Intervention Team.

CPT Tat, of our US Army 49th Transportation Battalion, Movement Control adopted unit, and Monica Sobotka are powerlifting team members of Phantom Warriors out of Ft. Hood. Monica is also a member of Team USA (USA Powerlifting Federation). So honored to have each of you at Belton Lions Club!
