– BBQ Fundraiser to help with medical expenses for Lion JT Grimm is scheduled for March 8th, 5pm, at Creekside Cigar. If you are able, bring a bottle or item for the auction.
– Texas Lions Camp Visit – visiting and touring Texas Lions Camp with PID Sam Lindsey on Friday, June 13th – plus, attending Camp Graduation that evening. We will have special rates for overnight stay at the Y.O. Ranch in Kerrville.Sign up Sheet.
– Texas Lions Camp Graduation Dinner, June 13 – possible joint project in MD 2-X3 – will update later.
– STAMPEDE Sponsors: Please reach out to Suppliers and Vendors to get sponsors – Level Opportunities: $50, $75, $150, $250, $500, $750 / Supplies: All signs and supplies are now in storage. We’re about $2K short of where we need to be to meet our normal Sponsorship Fundraising Goal. Thank you to Keith Cook for getting BISD JROTC for presenting the Colors; and BISD choir members to sing/lead the National Anthem.
– Legends on the Chisholm Trail – flier handout – opportunity to take meal donations and host plate spinning again. Event is Sat., March 29th, 10am-7pm; & Sun., March 30th, 7-10am
– District 2-X3 Convention is Saturday, March 29th in Clifton, Texas.
– Delta Program Reverse Job Fair – Tammy Baggerly is inviting Belton Lions Club members to come out and talk with; and support; the Job seekers – Tuesday, March 25, 10am-11:30am, Harris Center.
Program: Lion James Harrison invited Judge Ted Duffield. It’s always a good day to have former Little River-Academy Lion, JP (and Santa Claus) Ted Duffield in the house – providing an overview of Bell County JP areas of responsibility in Criminal Law, Civil Law, and other Laws – with an informative and lively Q&A session. Thank You for Serving Bell County!
