REMINDERS and ANNOUNCEMENTS:
– Thanksgiving Baskets for Special Needs Community – sign-up sheet; delivery date November 21st. (attached)
– Stampede Bike Ride 2025 Date – April 26th, 2025 – in order to post the event details on the Active Endurance site in January; taking into account, the limited meeting dates in November and December – we need to have a committee planning meeting soon. We are only 6 months out and should start soliciting sponsors now. Jennah will get with Brett.
– Project HEARTBEAT BISD Homeless – Tag distribution Nov. 18-20; Gifts are due back December 11th.
members agreed to increase the number to 20. Thank You!
– Saturday, December 7th – 5:30-7:30pm; Belton Christmas Parade – Parks & Rec wants the Club to put the Pearl Pirate Ship(s) in the parade. Danny Dossman called for help getting the Pearl from storage, for lighting and holiday décor.
– District MD2X3 Joint Service Project, with McLane’s Children’s Hospital, Saturday, December 14, Ralph Wilson Youth Center, Temple. All Clubs in our District are urged to participate. More info to come from District.
– Pictures with Santa for Children with Special Needs and their Siblings will be Thursday, December 19th – 5:30pm – 8pm, Harris Community Center
– MD2X3 Mid Winter District, Saturday, January 18, Gober Party House, Temple, Hosted by Temple Founders Lions.
Program: President Jennah Gliha invited Katie Sharp, Outreach and Education Director for Children’s Advocacy Center of Central Texas (CACCT).

– Mark Bellomy presented that Business Network International meets every Tuesday morning at 8:00am, Church of Christ on Hwy 317; they offer no charge membership to non-profits; he suggested that the Club might want to join the Network.

– LEO Club Update – Brett – future interested LEOs can help with events, as they further their plans. – Lions Foundation Annual Report – Belton Lions Club Foundation By-Laws and Constitution. Texas Secretary of has provided a copy of the Articles of Incorporation from 1988. By-Laws Committee to update soon.
