– UMHB President’s Leadership Circle “A Season of Purpose” Indoor Picnic, Tuesday, April 23, 6pm – RSVP’d for 2 Representatives from Belton Lions Club – President Keith Cook and 1st VP Jennah Gliha will attend.
– District Cabinet Meeting / District Convention – April 27- Waco, Texas – Hilton – President Keith will attend as a Delegate for BLC. – He will be taking our collected eyeglasses and bottle caps.
– Charter Night – Friday evening, May 3rd – James – sign up passing again – will be plated dinner/no charge to Belton Lion and one guest – there will not be a regular lunch meeting on Thursday, May 2nd
– Stampede – Saturday, June 8th – Active Registration is now open! Please keep soliciting sponsors! We now have three (3) Sponsors – Cochran, Blair and Potts; Don Ringler and Carlson Law Firm – Four (4) riders have already signed up.
– Club Excellence Award – to be eligible for this year, incoming Board Members must complete online training; and the Club must do a new Service Project – Jennah and Bree will organize a Clean-up on the Creek – before July 1st.
– Belton 4th of July Parade – Danny – the Club plans to enter the Black Pearl again – Chamber is now taking Parade Applications.
– Board Meeting after lunch TODAY.
Program: President Lion Keith Cook, gave a great presentation on the history of the Lions Club and what all the Lions do to serve the community! From the HOCTIL baskets to cleaning up Nolan Creek, BISD Project Heartbeat Angel and many more. We love to SERVE!

– Club President’s plaques – the Board approved to present “Gavel Plaques” to all BLC Presidents (including Past Presidents) that are still active in the Club. Ordered on April 5 (4-6 weeks for delivery)
