HOTCIL Fall Festival, Saturday, October 29, Central Texas Christian School – Review Recap
Thanksgiving Baskets for HOCTIL families – sign-up sheet passed – deliveries will be made November 17th between 1:30-2pm.
(Note: Our 3rd Thursday Board of Directors meeting may need to be moved to December 1st)
Veteran’s Day, November 11th – Starting now, please check the flags on your routes and replace the ones that faded, worn or tattered.
No Meeting on Thanksgiving Day
Grand Avenue Theater Tickets – order now; pay in January – sign-up sheet passed.
BLC Christmas Party, Dec. 15, Noon – John Corsi and James Harrison – plans are progressing for the “lunch” celebration
Christmas Baskets for HOCTIL families – Karen Stagner – Sign ups will start December 1st – delivery planned for after Christmas lunch on December 15th.
Visit and Pictures with Santa, hosted by Belton Lions – 5:30-8pm, December 22nd, Harris Community Center – for HOCTIL Families of Children with Special Needs. Cookies and Cocoa – All are Welcome to attend!

Program:  Lion David Tuma – District 55 State Representative Hugh D. Shine – rather than a Legislative Update; Representative Shine talked about Teams in Community; then focused on World Events and their impact Nationally and Worldwide – Life is a Journey – Not a Destination.  He closed his presentation with a lighthearted story about “parking in New York”.  Thank You!

November 17 – Keith Cook (plus HOCTIL deliveries) – Keith Zuelke, BISD Fine Arts Director will be my presenter and he will give us a review of the various programs.
November 24 – Thanksgiving (no meeting)

December 8 – Sam Listi
December 15 – Holiday Celebration at Lunch (plus HOCTIL deliveries afterward)
December 22 – No Lunch Meeting; HOCTIL Visit and Pictures with Santa in the evening

– Keeping on the Front Burner:
Belton Lion Business Cards – keep handing out those cards – inviting prospective new members.
Lion Corsi suggested that we have a prize drawing @ Charter Night for whoever invites (using the cards) the                                             most prospective new members.
