– CTBR (Central Texas BBQ Roundup) Financial Update from George Bunker – postponed to next mtg.
– District Convention Recap – Lion Pam Blair and Lion Kevin Hisel – Thank you for attending and representing the Belton Lions Club as Delegates.
– STAMPEDE on the Chisholm Trail, May 9th – only 3 weeks out from the STAMPEDE.
Deadline for the t-shirts is tomorrow, April 17th – Deadline for Sponsorships is also tomorrow, April 17th. Hand-out for Volunteer T-Shirts sign up passed.
We still need Swag Bag donations (150 bags) – company fliers, giveaways, discount coupons, etc. Swag Bag assembly is planned for Saturday, April 25th. Don Ringler Chevrolet is providing the bags for us to fill and pens for the bags. Lion Potts is contributing 150 items/coupons. And, of course, the Chamber is always generous with their contributions. If you or any of our sponsors have fliers or brochures to include in the bags, please let Lion Karen know asap.
We need Bib Raffle items (32) – Lion Pam Blair has contacted 17 companies & has items in-hand; Lion Rebecca Hutton has provided 4-$25 gift cards & 1-$100 gift card; Ladies Auxiliary MPR VFD is donating 6 items unclaimed from Roses for Hoses – so, we currently have 25 of the 32 items needed.

Program: Lion Sam Listi invited Aubrey Huckaby, 911 Communications Center Director. Awesome presentation today covering the process, the people, the training, tools & technology. Along with sample cases, work station, shifts – how it all works. We appreciate our 911 Communications Center does daily to keep us safe in Bell County.

– Captain “D” Dash for “Sight”, October 3rd, Route totally within Heritage Park established; we have contracted and paid deposit to have a timed run to attract more runners – we’re still looking for underwriters for the Timing ($1,200), for Award Medals ($500), and for T-Shirts ($750). Who will help solicit?
– USA/Canada Leadership Forum, September 3-5, Memphis, Tennessee
– LCICON (International) 2030 will be in San Antonio, Texas; hosted by Texas Lions
