– TODAY – Brief Board Meeting after lunch
– TODAY – Thanksgiving Basket Delivery –Thank you to the Basket Deliverers – Jennifer Ramirez, Pam Blair, Larry Berg (2) and Rob Potts. (See pictures attached)

– TODAY – BISD Project Heartbeat Angel Tags – BLC has adopted 20 tags – Tag adoptions – purchasing one full outfit of clothing and one toy – due back December 11th. Wrap or Bag & attach Angel Tag. Thank you! All twenty (20) tags have been adopted. If you didn’t get a tag and want one, let the Club Secretary know and she will get more.
Project Heartbeat Team is: Jennah Gliha, David Tuma, Luke Potts, Keith Cook (Team Leader), Todd Schiller
– December 6th – McLane’s Children’s Hospital Holiday Party, 11am-2pm, Saturday, Hematology and Oncology patients – Sign-up sheet Attached. Our Club will set up Carnival Games and Prizes. Event will be held at Temple High CTE building.
– December 6th, Belton Christmas on the Chisholm Trail Parade, evening, Saturday – (same day as McLane’s)
Lion George Bunker’s family will walk with banner; and he will have our mascot LINUS in the parade. Lion George is Team Leader. If anyone else wants to walk in the Parade, please contact Club Secretary or Lion George.
– December 11th is Christmas Basket delivery after lunch – sign up sheet passed today. (attached)

then, set-up after lunch for Christmas with Santa for Friends for Life families at the Harris Center.

Program: Open General Meeting – Lion Gene Ellis Celebration – there was cake! It was great to have Lion Gene with us again … so many wonderful memories!

– Lions Field @Smith and West 5th could use some updates. Jon Fontenot will get Parks & Rec to explore options – tabled until we have more information.
– Membership Milestone Awards – Will we be presenting these at Christmas? The Board agreed that Milestones will be in five (5) year increments; starting at 10 year membership. – John Corsi and Jennah Gliha. Secretary has provided a Report of each member’s length of membership. – No discussion at this meeting
– Update on Cadence Bank – CD and other – on hold
– Belton Lions Wall at Heritage Park – James Harrison coordinating
