Board Meeting after lunch today
Stampede, April 29th – Sponsor forms available / Registration is open / $2,250 collected in sponsorships – several more pledged. We have 22 riders signed up online; and 2 by mail.
Picnic in the Park, October 7th – James Harrison provided an update with site maps – next meeting will be March 28th at the Belton Chamber, 10:00am.
Lions on the Leon Wacky Boat Race, October 7th – Danny Dossman provided an update; forms, fliers and rules coming soon. We are in need of LARGE cardboard boxes – to start building our boat. Event information will be posted on the website soon.
Marek-Smith Training Center Donor Wall – Four (4) member pledges are unpaid. Once pledges have been paid, Kelly Boggs will come to lunch; pick up the check & make the arrangements.
HOCTIL families – five (5) Easter Food Baskets – sign up is full – Assembly and Delivery scheduled for Thursday, April 6th. Non-Perishables can be brought to any meeting. Reminder list Attached.
Program: David Leigh in Chicago; and pre-arranged to have Judy Garrett present an update on Downtown Belton … and Off the Rails; – with Danny Dossman as host. Judy provided an exciting and informative update on the new businesses recently opened; and soon to be developed and open in the Downtown area. She, also, provided an overview of upcoming Events planned for the Downtown area. It’s always fun and discovery time with Judy Garrett in the house! Thank You!

85th Anniversary of the Belton Lions Club – James Harrison is planning a Celebration. James explained that Belton Lions Club first met in 1938; then Chartered in 1939.
