Announcements
Stampede – Sponsor forms available / Registration is open / we have 16 registered rider already.
Picnic in the Park –Their next planning meeting will be March 10th at the Chamber, 1pm, all Welcome.
Lions on the Leon Wacky Boat Race – Next planning meeting will be March 14th, 6pm, Danny’s home.
John Corsi – t-shirts have been ordered.
Marek-Smith Training Center Donor Wall – Five (5) member pledges are unpaid. Once pledges have been paid, Kelly Boggs will come to lunch; pick up the check & make the arrangements.
HOCTIL families – five (5) Easter Food Baskets – sign up is full – Assembly and Delivery scheduled for Thursday, April 6th.  Non-Perishables can be brought to any meeting. Sign-up attached to this email.

Program: Chris Gregg and Jennah Gliha invited Andrea Womack, Area representative, Heart of Texas Fellowship of Christian Athletes.  The Heart of Texas FCA Ministry covers a 12 county area.  The Staff serves over 200 campuses and works alongside their local Leadership Boards.
Vision: To see the world transformed by Jesus Christ through the influence of coaches and athletes.
Mission: To lead every coach and athlete into a growing relationship with Jesus Christ and His church.

Officer Nominations for 2023-2024 for year beginning July 1st
85th Anniversary of the Belton Lions Club – James Harrison is planning a Celebration. James explained that Belton Lions Club first met in 1938; then Chartered in 1939.

Recap from the Board of Directors Meeting, Thurs., Feb. 26

1.  The Board approved for James Harrison to move forward with planning a 2024 Fundraiser Cruise on Carnival Jubilee, January 13-20, 2024.

2.  The Board discussed dues, lunch and non-fundraiser income/expenses – Jon Fontenot will provide the Club with a full breakdown at a near future lunch meeting and announce the results.
