NEW BUSINESS:
Where do we send the eyeglasses that we collect?  Jon Fontenot has been working on this and will take care of getting the glasses to where they go.
Will we consider purchasing the equipment to do the eye exams on a regular basis?  … schedule a certification class date?  Karen provided an email flier from Daniel Berry offering a complete system and certification, plus more … for under $6,000.  Keith Cook will check with BISD to see if the School Nurses are already screening.  There are other organizations and avenues where we could provide screening.  John Corsi suggested that we might pledge the Theater Ticket Sales to raise funds for the equipment. The Board will re-address this at the next meeting.
John Corsi visited with The GIN management and they have agreed to offer different choices on the menu for our lunch meetings.
John Corsi suggested that we consider taking space in Belton Market Days to promote the Belton Lions Club.  It was also suggested that we look into purchasing a Banner Stand and Specialty Products to give away.  John Corsi will get with Patti Powell about pricing for the Banner Stand; and Jon Fontenot will put together ideas and pricing from one of his vendors.  Both will report at the next meeting.
Keith Cook suggested that we add the Pledge to the Texas Flag to our Meeting Opening Order – all agreed.
