– Belton Lion of the Month Spotlight – David Tuma, Belton Journal – (next week)
– District Meeting, October 22nd, 9am, Palestine, Texas – they would like to get a headcount to reserve # of rooms.
– Flag Program –Thank you to everyone for all that you do. We gained a NEW participant this week.
– Eyeglass Drop Box – We are anxiously waiting for the finished and wrapped drop box. Placement location in downtown Belton will be determined once the drop box is completed. Thank you Chris, Jennah, and Sign of Times.
– Quarterly Dues Invoices are out – Thank you for prompt payment.
– Back to School with God event, August 6th – NOTE: time is 9am-1pm – James Harrison Team Leader
– BLC Ball Caps – $20 each – John Corsi thinks that he may have the remaining inventory of caps.
– BLC has purchased 72 backpacks for CASA foster kids, we will invite CASA of Bell and Coryell Counties to come back to a Club lunch for the presentation.
Program: Lion Christa Strang invited Dr. David Sprague, a Bio Science Research professional with Formation Venture Engineering to tell us about his experience in research protocols, bioengineering, genetics, DNA, PCR testing and how they are assisting Research Scientists. Dick Archer joined us for lunch today to make the introduction. Thank You!
