Officer Installation: DG Angela Cases officiated the Installation of our 2022 Belton Lions Club Officers.

Announcements.
– No Birthday Announcements
– Thank you to everyone that was able to bring a present today to support Christmas Connections.
– Belton Lions Christmas Party, December 16th (evening), 6:30pm, at the GIN – Club pays for members – Guest will be invoiced $32.00 each. Currently Signed up: John & Kitty Corsi, Gene & Sharon Ellis (maybe), Mike and Mary Matthews, Danny Dossman, David Leigh x2, Patti Powell, Jennah & Chris Gregg, Lou & Joyce Griffin, Mac & Jane Hickerson, James Harrison x2, Karen Stagner, Angela Cases & Lea Ann Batey, Joseph and Veronica Logan.
– Effective January 2022 – the GIN is raising the lunch price by $2.00, due to increased supply costs. The increase will be reflected on the April Invoice/Statements.
– We joined The Temple Belton Ladies Club on Tuesday to help with the Vision Screening project at the Body of Christ Community Clinic. It was a great success!
– HOCTIL Christmas baskets – If you did not bring your non-perishables for the baskets to the Thursday meeting; please bring them to the Christmas Party on the 16th. If you would like to help deliver the five (5) baskets, please let the Secretary know. Delivery is planned for Monday, December 20th, we will meet at City Hall at 1:00 pm.
New Business:
– David Leigh has offered us the opportunity for the Club to purchase $20.00 Coupons for the price of $14.00 each for The Grand Avenue Movie Theatre. Lion Dossman issued our first 50 tickets to the Club. Purchased during the meeting: Danny Dossman ($100 cash – 5 tickets); John Corsi ($200 to be invoiced – 10 tickets); James Harrison ($300 check – 15 tickets); Lou Griffin ($100 check – 5 tickets); Karen Stagner ($120 cash – 6 tickets). The cards make great gifts for clients, staff, co-workers, family, etc.
– Lion President Corsi has asked Patti Powell to look into business Cards to invite new members and get us a price
– President Corsi and 2nd VP Harrison met with the Boy Scouts about the Club sponsoring the Belton Troop. We will have them come in January to speak to the Club.
– President Corsi and 2nd VP Harrison will get together and create our 2022 Program Assignment list.
Program: Lion Lou Griffin invited Chief Deputy Jeff Buuck, Bell County Sheriff’s Department to provide an update on the Bell County Jail and the Sheriff’s Department.
