Regular Business
– Chris and Jennah’s baby, Kennedy Jo, was born on November 9th.
– November 20th – Thanksgiving Basket Delivery –Thank you (attached) – Don’t forget to bring your items.
– November 20th – BISD Project Heartbeat Angel Tags – BLC has adopted 20 tags (tags will be picked up on the 19th).
– December 6th – McLane’s Children’s Hospital Holiday Party, 11am-2pm, Saturday, Hematology and Oncology patients – Sign-up sheet. Our Club will set up Carnival Games and Prizes. Event will be held at Temple High CTE building.
– December 6th, Belton Christmas on the Chisholm Trail Parade, evening, Saturday – (same day as McLane’s)
Jennifer, George (9 people), Karen – walk with banner; and have our mascot LINUS in the parade.
– December 11th is Christmas Basket delivery after lunch – sign up sheet will pass on November 20th
– December 11th – Project Heartbeat Gifts due back – deliver to Christina (BISD)
– December 18th is Club Christmas Party –
then, set-up after lunch for Christmas with Santa at the Harris Center.

– April 11th, District Convention, hosted by the Palestine Lions Club
– Lions Field @Smith and West 5th could use some updates. Jon Fontenot will get Parks & Rec to explore options – tabled until we have more information.
– Membership Milestone Awards – Will we be presenting these at Christmas? The Board agreed that Milestones will be in five (5) year increments; starting at 10 year membership. – John Corsi and Jennah Gliha. Secretary has provided a Report of each member’s length of membership. – No discussion at this meeting
– Update on Cadence Bank – CD and other – on hold
– Belton Lions Wall at Heritage Park – James Harrison coordinating
